Improv Quilter

I am an improv or "modern" quilter, which means I use traditional quilting techniques in a non-traditional way. All of my work is handsewn. The majority of my materials are sourced from thrift or gifted to me. If you are interested in a quilt, please email me.

My daughter and I collaborated on this quilt for her. She did the applique, and I quilted. Includes t-shirts we collected, and random fabric from my stash.

This is my mother's prom dress from the 1950s. Appliqued onto  silk fabric with gloves, purse, and needle felted corsage.
